Teacher Training Programs

Glengarry offers certificate training courses primarily for native English speakers interested in teaching English as a Second Language overseas. Prior teaching experience is helpful but not a prerequisite.

People whose first language is not English but who are teaching English in their own countries may also benefit from taking these courses. A very good command of the language is required.

Our TESOL and TEFLA certificates may be taken as stand-alone programs or applied towards the Diploma in TESOL. In turn, this diploma may be applied towards a Master of Arts in TESOL degree (providing you meet any other degree prerequisites).

NOTE: The $50 fee does not apply to a stand-alone certificate course.
